There’s a struggle between the deliberation and punchiness of the percussion in the background and the effects applied to them, dragging out the sound.
It’s the same sort of dichotomy that surrounds the grand, sprawling buildings of commerce. Grand, sprawling, bright, yet mechanically honed to just be replicas.
